Ensuring patients can access quality health care lies at the heart of Caring Health Center’s mission. However, one significant obstacle to this access is the absence of transportation for non-emergency medical appointments. This can stem from various factors such as not having a valid driver’s license, lacking a functioning vehicle, needing assistance to travel or wait for services, or facing physical, cognitive, mental, or developmental challenges.

Recognizing that transportation barriers lead to delayed care, CHC took proactive steps to address this issue. By procuring two PVTA buses and customizing them to cater to our patients’ needs, we’ve significantly improved access to essential health services. These buses now serve as a vital lifeline, ensuring patients can attend appointments without hindrance, thereby enhancing their overall well-being.
